Coach Workshops

Develop the coaching behaviours that shape performance.

Tailored online workshops that help coaches improve communication, leadership, practice design and the environments they create for players.

WHY COACH WORKSHOPS

The biggest coaching challenges are rarely just technical.

Coaches shape far more than technique. They influence confidence, decision-making, learning, motivation and how players respond when cricket becomes difficult.

Our Coach Workshops help coaches explore the behaviours, conversations and environments that can make those moments more productive — using practical, cricket-specific ideas they can apply straight away.

WHAT COACHES EXPLORE

The behaviours and decisions that shape effective coaching.

Communication

Giving players clear, useful information and adapting conversations to the individual and the moment.

Leadership

Creating direction, setting standards and influencing the environment around a team or group.

Practice design

Designing sessions that improve decision-making, transfer learning and prepare players for the demands of competition.

Feedback

Using feedback more effectively so players can understand, adapt and take greater ownership of their development.

Player development

Supporting confidence, independence and long-term learning by helping players understand their game and take greater ownership of their development.

Team culture

Creating environments where players can learn, contribute, compete and respond constructively when things become difficult.

PRACTICAL BY DESIGN

Designed around discussion, reflection and real coaching.

Coach Workshops are delivered online and typically last around 60 minutes. Rather than relying on long presentations, sessions are built around discussion, practical examples and coaching situations that participants can relate directly to their own environment.

The content is tailored to the level, experience and context of the group, so the workshop feels relevant rather than generic.

Cricket Mind brings together experience from professional cricket, high-performance coaching, international coach development and applied sport psychology.

That combination means our Coach Workshops are grounded in the realities of coaching — not just theory — and are designed to help coaches think more clearly about the environments, behaviours and conversations that influence player development and performance.

“One of the most gifted coach developers I have had the privilege of working with and watching first hand.”

— Jane Powell, Yorkshire County Cricket Club
