Supporting players across the full season, not just match days
We’re pleased to confirm a new partnership between Cricket Mind Online and TCS Elite Performance Academy.
This partnership has been built around a simple idea:
High-performance and mindset support works best when it follows the rhythm of the season, not when it appears in isolation.
Rather than adding one-off sessions or disconnected interventions, this collaboration provides structured support across the full training and competition cycle.
A shared view of development
TCS Elite Performance Academy has built a reputation for offering high-quality, year-round cricket development within a demanding but supportive environment.
Their work already brings together:
- Technical coaching
- Competitive match exposure
- Physical preparation
- Clear performance standards
Our role within the partnership is not to add noise or overload players with theory. It is to support how players think, focus, and respond as those demands increase.
How the support is delivered
The Cricket Mind input runs across three key phases of the season, aligning directly with how players train and compete.
Pre-season: Building confidence and focus (January–March)
At the start of the year, each group takes part in a live online workshop focused on helping players begin the season with clarity.
The emphasis here is on:
- Setting meaningful, realistic goals
- Developing confidence that holds under scrutiny
- Using simple visualisation and preparation strategies
The intention is not to motivate, but to orient players properly before competitive pressures begin.
In-season: Performing under pressure (April–September)
During the season itself, players have access to a mobile-friendly, pre-recorded video module focused on performing when it matters.
This phase explores:
- Managing nerves and expectations
- Using reset routines between moments
- Maintaining focus across long or demanding periods
Because the content is accessible on phones and laptops, players can return to it when it’s most relevant — before training, after games, or during challenging periods.
Post-season: Reflection and growth mindset (October–December)
At the end of the season, each group takes part in a final live online workshop focused on reflection and learning.
Rather than rushing into the next goal, players are supported to:
- Review what actually happened during the season
- Make sense of challenges and setbacks
- Identify lessons that inform the next stage of development
This phase is about helping players carry learning forward, not just close the year.
Working alongside TCS
This partnership is deliberately positioned to support, not replace, the work already being done within TCS Elite Performance Academy.
Our support is designed to sit quietly alongside coaching, helping players get more from the work they are already doing.
Individual support
In addition to the group-based support delivered through the academy programme, TCS players also have the option to access one-to-one Player Mentoring with Cricket Mind Online.
It is available for players who feel they would benefit from more individualised support around confidence, focus, or handling specific challenges within their game.
One-to-one mentoring allows space to:
- Explore personal experiences in more depth
- Work through moments of pressure or self-doubt
- Build routines and strategies tailored to the individual
Any individual work is shaped around the player’s existing coaching environment and is designed to support the work already being done at TCS.
