Connecting Mindset and Match Performance
Cricket Mind Online and Cheshire Cricket Coaching are pleased to announce a formal partnership — bringing together online mindset mentoring and structured, in-person performance development for ambitious young cricketers.
While the two brands operate in different environments, they share a common philosophy: that coaching must ultimately stand up in matches.
Cheshire Cricket Coaching delivers in-person coaching programmes across Cheshire, including the Cheshire Performance Academy for players aged 14–18. Cricket Mind Online provides online mentoring and performance support to players, coaches and parents nationally and internationally.
Together, the partnership strengthens the bridge between preparation and performance.
A shared philosophy
At the centre of both organisations is a simple principle:
Technical work only matters if it transfers into competitive environments.
Players can look impressive in nets.
They can execute drills well.
They can rehearse routines successfully.
But matches ask different questions.
They ask for decision-making under pressure.
Clarity when conditions shift.
Confidence when momentum swings.
The Cheshire Performance Academy has been built around this understanding — small groups, structured blocks, and progressive training that moves from technical consolidation towards competitive application.
That alignment made this partnership a natural step.
Introducing the Cheshire Performance Academy
The Cheshire Performance Academy provides structured performance programmes for committed cricketers aged 14–18.
Programmes run in focused blocks aligned to the season, with an emphasis on:
- Technical refinement
- Match awareness
- Tactical clarity
- Role responsibility
- Competitive application
Importantly, sessions are not simply collections of drills. They are designed progressively, allowing players to build continuity and test their learning in realistic match environments.
The Academy operates at Mobberley Cricket Club and maintains limited group sizes to protect coaching quality and individual attention.
The Easter Performance Block
The first programme delivered under this strengthened partnership is the Easter Performance Block.
This structured Easter cricket camp in Cheshire is designed to help players transition from winter training into early-season match performance.
Across four outdoor sessions, players will work on:
- Technical refinement on grass surfaces
- Decision-making under pressure
- Game-based scenario training
- Competitive short-format match play
The inclusion of structured match play is deliberate. It allows players to test their skills under scoreboard pressure — not just practise them in isolation.
For many players, that is where development accelerates.

Why this partnership matters
For players already working with Cricket Mind Online, this partnership provides a trusted in-person environment that reflects the same performance standards.
For players attending Cheshire Cricket Coaching programmes, it offers optional access to specialist mindset mentoring beyond the training ground.
The intention is not to blur the two brands.
Cheshire Cricket Coaching remains focused on in-person coaching across Cheshire.
Cricket Mind Online continues to provide online mentoring nationally and internationally.
But where appropriate, the pathway between them is now clearer.
Preparation and performance should not sit in separate conversations.
More collaborative work between the two organisations will be shared in due course.
