Introduction
By booking and participating in any coaching, mentoring, mindset coaching, or performance support session with Cricket Mind Online, a trading name of Nathan Wood Consulting Ltd, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Agreement.
If you are under 18 years of age, parental or guardian consent is required before participation.
1. Nature of Services
Cricket Mind Online provides high-performance, mindset, and performance support services tailored for cricketers.
These services:
- Are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other healthcare treatment.
- Do not diagnose, treat, or prevent medical or psychological conditions.
- Are designed to support performance, learning, development, and well-being within a cricketing context.
Some practitioners working within Cricket Mind Online may hold additional professional registrations and may provide services in accordance with the standards and ethical guidelines of their relevant professional body.
If you have any concerns regarding your physical health, mental health, or well-being, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
2. Voluntary Participation & Assumption of Risk
By engaging in coaching and performance support services, you understand that:
- Participation in coaching and performance support services is voluntary.
- Coaching is designed to support high-performance, learning, development, and mental skills training.
- Cricket Mind Online makes no guarantees regarding performance improvement or specific outcomes.
- Success depends on individual effort, engagement, commitment, and external factors beyond our control.
You acknowledge that results may vary between individuals and accept responsibility for your own decisions and actions arising from participation.
3. Parental/Guardian Consent for Underage Clients
If the Client is under 18 years of age:
- A parent or guardian must provide consent before participation.
- The parent/guardian accepts responsibility for ensuring compliance with this Agreement.
- Cricket Mind Online may request parental/guardian involvement where appropriate.
- Where appropriate, Cricket Mind Online may request parental/guardian involvement in aspects of the support process to help safeguard and support the Client’s development and well-being.
4. Confidentiality
Cricket Mind Online respects the Client’s privacy and will keep coaching and support discussions confidential, except where:
- Disclosure is required by law.
- The Client poses a risk to themselves or others.
- Safeguarding or welfare concerns arise.
- Express permission is given by the Client.
Where appropriate, relevant non-confidential information may be shared internally between Cricket Mind Online practitioners to support the Client’s development, continuity of support, and overall well-being.
For Clients under 18 years of age, confidentiality will be maintained unless a duty of care requires parental/guardian involvement for safety, safeguarding, or well-being reasons.
5. Liability Waiver & Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you (or your parent/guardian, if under 18 years of age) release Cricket Mind Online, Nathan Wood Consulting Ltd, and its practitioners, coaches, consultants, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising from:
- Participation in coaching or performance support services.
- The use or misuse of techniques, strategies, advice, or recommendations provided.
- Any perceived lack of results, improvement, or performance outcomes.
You agree not to hold Cricket Mind Online, Nathan Wood Consulting Ltd, or any of its representatives liable for any emotional distress, personal injury, or indirect damages arising from participation in coaching or performance support services.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
6. No Guarantee of Results
Coaching, mentoring, mindset coaching, and performance support are individual development processes.
Cricket Mind Online does not guarantee specific outcomes, including but not limited to:
- Cricket performance improvements.
- Team selection or professional advancement.
- Achievement of specific goals.
- Improvements in confidence, well-being, or personal development.
Outcomes will vary depending on the individual and the circumstances involved.
7. Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy
- All coaching sessions, programmes, and block bookings must be paid in full before the first session takes place.
- Sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.Cancellations made within 24 hours may result in the session fee being charged or forfeited.
- No refunds will be provided for coaching sessions, programmes, block bookings, workshops, or gift vouchers, regardless of attendance.
- Rescheduling may be accommodated at the discretion of Cricket Mind Online and subject to availability.
- All coaching sessions, programmes, and block bookings must be used within 12 months of the purchase date.
- Any unused sessions after this period will be forfeited unless otherwise agreed in writing by Cricket Mind Online.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.
Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
9. Acknowledgment & Agreement
By booking a session, programme, workshop, or service with Cricket Mind Online, you confirm that you:
- Have read and understood this Agreement.
- Voluntarily accept the terms outlined above.
- Understand the nature and limitations of coaching and performance support services.
- Accept responsibility for your participation.
- Agree that electronic acceptance carries the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
