ABOUT THE INITIAL CONSULTATION
The initial consultation is a structured, one-to-one conversation designed to help us understand your cricket, your context, and what you’re currently working through.
It creates space to explore how you think, prepare, and respond in training and matches, before deciding whether ongoing support would be helpful — and if so, in what form.
Some players and coaches choose to book a consultation before committing to a coaching plan. Others select a plan straight away. Both routes are supported, and all coaching plans include an initial consultation as part of the process.
WHAT THE SESSION INVOLVES
The consultation is a 50-minute online session, delivered one-to-one.
During the session, we’ll explore:
- Your cricket background and current environment
- What feels most challenging or inconsistent at the moment
- How you currently prepare, think, and reflect
- What you’d like greater clarity or support around
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
By the end of the conversation, you should have:
- Greater clarity around what’s influencing your performances
- A clearer sense of whether mentoring or coaching support would be appropriate
- Honest guidance on possible next steps (if any)
There is no obligation to continue beyond the consultation.
WHO THE CONSULTATION IS FOR
The initial consultation is suitable for players and coaches at different ages and stages of their cricket journey.
It is particularly useful if you:
- Feel something is holding your performances back, but aren’t sure what
- Want to think more clearly under pressure
- Need guidance on training and practice methods
- Are unsure which type of support would be most appropriate
- Would value an informed, external perspective on your cricket
