Elite Cricket Coaching

The Cheshire Performance Academy is an elite player development programme for ambitious cricketers aged 14 to 18, delivered in partnership with Cricket Mind Online and Mobberley Cricket Club.

Designed to help players bridge the gap from junior to senior cricket and prepare for county age-group selection, the Academy combines world-class coaching with exclusive masterclasses from professional and international players and coaches.

Meet Your Coaches

Delivered by a team headed up by ECB Level 4 coach Nathan Wood – ex-Lancashire player and former Head of Coach Development for England Cricket – the Academy is built on proven expertise at the highest level.

Nathan is supported by a team of ECB-qualified coaches, including Level 3 and Level 4 specialists, ensuring every player receives tailored, high-quality development.

Players will also benefit from exclusive guest masterclasses led by:

• Glen Chapple – Lancashire & England; Pace Bowling
• Luke McCoy – Cheshire CCC; Batting
• Stephen Parry – Lancashire & England, spin bowling

This unique blend of coaching gives players direct access to professional and international-level expertise in a supportive, high-performance environment.

Pricing & Dates

The Cheshire Performance Academy runs across two blocks of weekly one-hour sessions at Wilmslow High School Indoor Nets.

All sessions run from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.

• One Block (6 sessions) – £17.50 per session, paid upfront (£105 total)
• Both Blocks (12 sessions) – £15 per session, paid upfront (£180 total)

Places are limited to just 20 players to ensure a high-quality coach-to-player ratio.
