Strengthening our mindset support for players across the game
We’re delighted to welcome Briony Brock to the Cricket Mind Online team.
Briony is the first coach to join Cricket Mind, following Nathan as founder, and her arrival marks an important step in shaping the kind of support we offer players — calm, thoughtful, and genuinely player-centred.
She joins the team as a Mindset Coach and sport psychology consultant, supporting cricketers across different ages and stages of development. Her work focuses on helping players perform with greater confidence, focus, and emotional balance, particularly in moments that carry pressure.
Briony brings strong credentials alongside practical, real-world experience. She holds an MSc in Sport & Exercise Psychology, is progressing through the BASES accreditation route, and is an ECB Level 2 coach. She is also a cricketer herself.
This combination allows Briony to translate psychology into clear, relatable support that players can apply in both training and matches — without overcomplicating the game.
She is particularly well known for her work around nerves, confidence, and recovery after mistakes, helping players build routines and habits that support both performance and enjoyment of cricket over time.
Briony’s contribution to the game is also recognised beyond Cricket Mind Online. She is the recipient of the Middlesex Outstanding Contribution Award (2023) and is named a Grassroots Champion (2024).
We’re delighted to have Briony as part of the Cricket Mind Online team and to be able to offer players access to her expertise as part of our wider support network.
